an urban legend about Ondoy?
it’s no ghost story. but it’s quite interesting to read.
my uncle told me this story. it made my hairs stand on end.
he said he saw an interview of this guard at Provident Village.
The guard said there was an old man, a really old man, sorta like a beggar, who was asking for water at the guardhouse, and they turned him away.
Moments later, the guards received calls/complaints that an old beggar had gotten inside the community and was disturbing the residents bla-bla-blah.
When they were escorting the old beggar out, he said:
“Tubig na nga lang hinihingi ko, di niyo pa maibigay. Hayaan niyo, ako na lang ang magbibigay sa inyo. (All I’m asking for is a glass of water and you denied me. Well then, I will give you some.)”
This all happened daw Friday, Sept. 25th, the day before Ondoy struck.
believe it? it’s up to you. :|
